Why do I Wander?

When I was first coming up with a name for this new blog, I questioned the inclusion of "wandering" as the the meaning is often considered negative:

- traveling aimlessly from place to place;

-walk or move away in a leisurely, casual, or aimless way;

-travel slowly through or over.

As I have reflected on my life, I have found that it more closely echoes this meaning:

(of a road or river [or life]) wind with gentle twists and turns in a particular direction.

I realize that every waypoint in my journey through life has helped to shape and mold the person that I am today.

Three months ago, I decided to move with only what I could fit in three suitcases, a backpack and three one-cubic foot boxes and make my life in New York City and hopefully, one day, work the big shows as a stage manager.

But don't worry, this blog isn't for my rambling thoughts, this blog is meant to capture the different parts of that journey. Last June, I finally bought myself a DSLR camera in preparation for a two-week trip to Europe and now I use it to capture the moments of my journeyings.

I hope you enjoy
